Robin Reynolds is a board-certified clinician and clinical supervisor. She is a Coastal Carolina University graduate and obtained a Master of Art in Counseling from Webster University. Her 15 years of experience spans across state agencies, non-profits, and private practice.
Robin is the founder, owner and clinician at Coastal Palmetto Counseling in Horry County. Robin has presented continuing education over the past 5 years. She is certified in anger management, advanced grief, narcissistic abuse recovery, clinical trauma, veterans and military health and compassion fatigue.
Robin also is a Service to Armed Forces Reconnection Workshop Adult Facilitator Lead and serves on the Disaster Relief Team specializing in Mental Health support for eastern South Carolina through the Red Cross.
Throughout Robin's carrier she has maintained strong connections in the community and places service to others as a priority.

Shelley McGeorge, PhD, LPCS, LPC, LMFT
Shelley McGeorge, PhD, LPCS, LPC, LMFT is currently serving as Chair of the Government and Legislative Committee, the Nominations Committee, the Bylaws Committee and is the Parliamentarian. She also teaches a class in the Clinical Supervision and Consultation Course.
She has been in private practice in Columbia, SC for 35 years serving adults, families, and couples. She also has more than 30 years of experience serving the state in the fields of children's services, education, addiction, and mental health services and has functioned in a variety of managerial, planning, and statewide leadership positions.
Nancy is the Director of Outpatient Services for Three Rivers Behavioral Health in West Columbia, SC. She has been working in the counseling field since 2013 when she began her internship at LRADAC, the local alcohol and drug commission in her county. She is a 2014 graduate of Columbia International University, College of Counseling, with a Masters of Arts in Clinical Counseling. Nancy is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor Candidate. She became a Licensed Addictions Counselor in 2018, Licensed Professional Counselor in 2016, a Certified Addictions Counselor in 2016 and a Nationally Certified Counselor in 2016.
Nancy’s specialty is Addictions but she also has extensive training in Trauma and Grief and Loss. She worked with the “Joy in the Mourning, Center for Life Losses” a non-profit started by Linda Gill to help individuals struggling with grief since 2013. As part of the “Joy in the Mourning” team, she served as the Chair of the Board for 5 years, provided individual counseling and facilitated support groups for grief and for family members of loved ones that have completed suicide. Nancy previously severed on the SCCMHCA Board as a Member at Large.
Prior to becoming a counselor, Nancy had a 25+ year career in Sales and Marketing. She received a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Webster University in 2001 and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina in 1994.

Christie Rogers-Larke

Dr. Rogers-Larke is a Native American professional counselor who brings over 30 years of experience to SCCMHCA. Her diverse background spans mental health counseling, school-based services, school counseling, and private practice. As a private group owner and practitioner for more than 15 years, she provides integrative therapy grounded in Choice Theory, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies, and Somatic Interventions. Dr. Rogers-Larke is also an EMDR therapist serving both children and adults.
A respected public speaker on ADHD and childhood mental health, she has served as an expert witness in mental health cases involving children across two states and three counties. Her expertise includes working with custodial issues, parental reunification, and co-parenting dynamics.

TelvinPeterson , a graduate of UNC Charlotte is a dedicated mental health professional with over 15 years of experience working with diverse populations in various settings, including college campuses, schools, and state correctional facilities. He is the owner of Inner Depth Counseling & Consulting LLC, where he specializes in addressing Men's Issues, Anger Management, and Substance Abuse. With a focus on life's unexpected challenges—such as bereavement, depression, relationship and financial struggles, burnout, and high levels of stress—he empowers individuals to find healing, support, and a path to a brighter future. His approach centers on fostering a sense of love, belonging, and safety amidst life's most difficult circumstances.
In addition to his clinical work,Telvinhas spent the past six years collaborating with correctional officers and therapeutic communities within the Department of Corrections, supporting individuals battling substance use disorders, including alcohol, opioids, amphetamines, cannabis, and cocaine. He employs evidence-based practices like Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to guide clients toward lasting change. Beyond therapy, he offers career counseling, group therapy, stress management, and suicide prevention services. He is also skilled in conducting professional development trainings for CEUs and creating tailored programs for special populations, combining his extensive expertise with a passion for fostering resilience and growth.

Helen Elliott Wheeler
Helen Elliott Wheeler is an LPC in private practice and The Center for Families, LLC. In addition to being a counselor, she is also a Certified Family Court Mediator, and a Parenting Coordinator in high conflict divorce and co-parenting cases.She is a frequent presenter at CEU events for Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Social workers and Psychologists. She is a Candidate for Certification as a Certified Mental Health Evaluator by the National Board of Forensic Evaluators.

Christopher J Hipp
Charleston Southern University
Dr. Christopher Hipp is an Assistant Professor at Charleston Southern University in the Clinical Counseling program. He was an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina, Augusta University, and Grand Canyon University. He has been teaching for 7 years.
Dr. Hipp obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina. He earned his Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Counselor Education, specializing in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from the University of South Carolina. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of South Carolina.
Before teaching, Dr. Hipp worked as a counselor in multiple settings. These settings included a group home, university counseling center, school district, non-profit agency practice, and community practice. He enjoyed working with individuals, couples, and families and continues to maintain supervision practice as the Clinical Coordinator and a practicum and internship supervisor at Charleston Southern University. He also enjoyed performing research on the benefits of relationship education programs for individuals and couples and the impact technoference can have on romantic relationships.
