
Recruit members through marketing and public relations
Provide content for SCCMHCA's social media accounts
Monitor membership list monthly
Create surveys to solicit feedback from members
Determine a theme, select and invite speakers, confirm location, create an agenda for the annual conference
Create and organize professional development workshops
Create and organize webinars such as Forums
Monitor and recommend positions regarding state and national issues relating to clinical counseling
Provide reports to general membership
Communicate and coordinate with AMHCA
Plan and conduct an annual ethics training
Address quality of care issues in the practice of clinical counseling and inform and educate members regarding matters of ethical and professional concern
Promote diverse populations, awareness and participation in the Association and in the field of clinical counseling
Plan and conduct an annual diversity training
Conduct a financial audit of the Association’s records and prepare a report
Report findings to the Board
The SCCMHCA offers several opportunities to contribute and get involved with the organization, to network with other members, and to grow your knowledge and skills through participation on various committees.
Committee Membership is open to current members of SCCMHCA as well as Board Members. Committees follow the policies and procedures as established by the SCCMHCA bylaws.
